Celebrating 10 years as Beerhouses with a brand refresh and new website
This year, we celebrate 10 years of Beerhouses! While we’ve run individual pubs for longer than this, it’s 10 years since we formed the Beerhouses group. It’s also 10 years since we took over The Terrace, formerly known as The Old Turk, so we;’ve hosted a couple of big birthday events there, including iconic club DJ, Jeremy Healy, on 1st November.
The pub industry isn’t easy, and it’s endured more than its fair share of disruption over the last few years, so we think that this milestone is a pretty amazing achievement, and one that we’re only too happy to celebrate.
A slightly different look
To mark our 10 years as a group, we’ve given ourselves a bit of a glow up. The Beerhouses brand has served us well, but we thought we’d embark on the next period with a fresher look. Working with branding expert, Adam Gill from Grammar Studio, we’ve created a new suite of brand identities for Beerhouses and the individual pubs, with a different look and a cleaner colour palette.
However, we remain committed to our heritage and ensured that we retained an element of the old brand that we felt was important to who we are – the barrel (the original beer ‘house’!). It looks a bit different to the old one but it’s still central to the brand and you can expect to see it as an icon that represents us across a variety of communications.
Where it all comes together – our new website!
While we have had a website for several years, it’s true to say that it wasn’t the best representation of who we are. It was slightly unloved and not the slickest of sites but that’s all changed now. Our new website (thank you ego!) not only showcases the new brand but has been completely redrafted to help you find everything you need to know about us and all our pubs and people.
We have a page dedicated to each pub, new photography (By Elspeth Mary Moore), a blog area, and feeds from our socials. It’s much more comprehensive and we hope you will find it a useful hub for everything you need to know. Why not visit our home page and ake a look round from there, and please let us know what you think!
VISIT OUR HOMEPAGEWe’re now in the process of rolling the brand out across the group. We’ve splashed it across our socials, and you’ll see it in the pubs on menus and posters. The first pub where you’ll see a dramatic transformation will be Stalybridge Buffet Bar, where we’re replacing all the signage – look out for news of the auction we’ll be holding soon for some of the historic old signage, with all proceeds going to charity, of course.
