Pubs are much more than places to drink in, they form part of the local community. They provide a place to connect with people and to be sociable. We all know, from our experiences in lockdown, how important human interaction is and the dangers of isolation that result from not having hubs like pubs to go to.
But it’s not enough for pubs just to exist to provide a place to gather, we think that pubs should give back to their communities as well. That’s why each of our pubs has a nominated charity as well as other local causes and groups that they support.
Staff in each pub choose their own charity and causes each year and they dedicate themselves to fundraising; running events, holding raffles and draws, donating money from regular events, and generally raising awareness.
