We confess, our welcoming hospitality and brilliant range of beers on the bar have caused many people to miss their trains in Dewsbury. Sometimes, ‘popping’ into the pub on platform 2 can become ‘lingering’ and even ‘settling in for the night’. Don’t worry, there’ll be another train along at some point…

What we didn’t expect was a travelling contingency of West Fans taking their T shirts on tour and proudly ‘missing trains in Dewsbury’ all over the world. We hope that those who see them ponder on the West Riding and think about how good it must be to miss their train for.
