No hype\, no image\, no posturing\, no deception\, just true alchemy. No two performances are ever the same\, even the musicians themselves don’t know what potent brew will be cooked up.\nA three-piece blues roots\, rock band from the UK\, Yorkshire based with Alex Eden\, lead singer\, guitarist and harmonica player\, drummer Richard Ferdinando and bass player Richard Green. The band glean inspiration from the likes of The Black Keys\, Magic Sam\, RL Burnside\, Taj Mahal and Dr John.\nCrosscut Saw is well established and played many festivals and venues around the country and Europe over the past 30 years including; Colne Great British RnB Festival\, Burnley Blues Festival\, Leeds Blues Festival\, Maryport Blues Festival\, Beverly Blues Festival\, Honey Bee Blues Club\, Beat-Herder Festival\, Unity Day Leeds\, The Hebden Bridge Blues Festival\, Glow Festival Huddersfield\, The Shuttle Shuffle Festival.ly replacing their Duck and Drake residency during the pandemic. \n \nChris Martin\nChris (the man in a hat) Martin is a “silky fingered bluesmeister\, raconteur and teller of unfeasibly tall tales” Chris regularly fronts the 4 piece Rusty Nails Blues Band. He will have copies of his brand new and well received solo album “From Absence to Presence” to sell at this gig. \nThe Sunday Socials series is a monthly blues-inspired music and social event held on the last Sunday of each month from November to March. These are free events\, designed help you make the most of your weekend and enjoy some amazing live music – and still be home for bedtime! \nSunday Socials are brought to you in association with Huddersfield Blues Club\, Sunday Blues Train\, and Vocation Brewery. \nFREE ENTRY!
