SUMMARY:Sunday Social: Hebble
DESCRIPTION:Up and coming Huddersfield act Hebble kick off the latest Sunday Socials series. This year we are mixing up the genres and going in eclectic! \n\n\n“Folk standards\, catchy choruses\, belting rhythms\, and tunes to make the heart sing. Hebble are an eclectic world folk band with an unusual set of instruments that play lively\, international traditional music in multiple languages. Hebble are Greek Bouzouki\, Bodhran\, and Cello + 3 vocals. We play English\, Czech\, Polish\, Irish\, Scottish\, and Appalachian folk music. We also have a handful of original songs inspired by Yorkshire myth and landscape. Upbeat and alternative with twists of jazz\, and plenty of three-part harmonies” \n\n\nMAGGIE GARRAT of MEWL music said: “From the very first tune\, they had the audience eating out of their hands. Every time they kicked off another song or tune\, the expectation of ‘ what now?’ was palpable. Not only are they superb musicians\, the warmth and humour of each personality shines through on stage. I cant wait to get these guys back.” \n\nGAYLE LOFTHOUSE of BBC Radio Leeds said: “Amazing. Oh my gosh\, that was so good. Amazing\, absolutely amazing\, I love that! Absolutely incredible.”

But it’s truly magical when he sings the blues especially when backed by the stunning musicianship of this band. \n\n\nThe Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience set includes original compositions alongside glorious renditions of Ray Charles\, BB King\, Stevie Ray Vaughan\, Sonny Boy Williamson\, John Lee Hooker\, Jimi Hendrix\, Robert Johnson and more. \n\n\nCLIP: Chapel Allerton fest 2023 -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CKT6uacXE8 \n\n\nIn 2021 the “Dark Side of the Blues – Pat Fulgoni Live In Prague” album reached #2 in Roots Music Report’s UK albums chart (approx 300 US radio stations) with Chicago Blues Guide maintaining its: “a collection of impeccably reworked blues and rock covers” and Blues Matters Mag writing: “I was completely blown away because he can sing\, I mean\, really sing. Ridiculously well” \n\nSometimes balls out\, sometimes deeply heart wrenching\, Blues In Britain magazine are quite right to say its “a blues rock set to cherish… Pat and co just do them so well”\nhttps://www.facebook.com/patfulgonibluesexperience
